| So I guess the only time I really check Xanga anymore is when I am
deeply procrastinating. i am currently NOT working on an
important paper that just happens to determine whether I can graduate
with my Masters, but oh well. Just wanted to catch up with you
all. Read a bunch of old friends xangas and everyone seems so
happy to be graduating. I felt really old. I hope you all
know that I still think about you guys and *sometimes* wish I was back
in LA. Im actually really enjoying where I am right now and am
glad I didnt take up the opportunity to go back to UCLA. Jay and
I are still happily together and eagerly trying to find a job in the
same area next year. My two cats are twins. I seriously
cannot tell them apart anymore. Chewie is a handful though and is
such a cuddlemonster. He likes to play fetch and step all over
the keyboard. Mittens is the same old fattie mcgee. Anyway,
I have converted to MySpace (yes, sadly), so if you want to talk to me,
MySpace is probably more convenient. Ill be in LA for my
sister's and francie's graduation so maybe i'll see some of you guys
there. :)

| you know, there's no point in having a big thingie if you're not going to use it.
and, if you haven't noticed... small things are in. just look at how popular the ipod nano is. |

| so... you know how i was kinda regretting coming to santa cruz instead of back to ucla for grad school because i missed having such close friends and my little sister around. ive been thinking about it and its not THAT bad. sure, there are no asian people around, but im starting to kinda like it here. AND zahra will be just down the hill in san jose AND one of my closest friends from high school, chris, will be going to santa clara university for law school. so im superduper excited because i get to live with babyjay and mittens and be a mile from the beach and have some good friends less than an hour away.
school starts in a few weeks. aaack! im so not ready to be in study mode.... other than that, im feeling pretty damn happy. |
